Kemplink—new company develops cables and connectors for EV charging

Finnish technology firm Kemppi Group has established a new subsidiary called Kemplink, which designs and manufactures high-power DC fast charging cables for electric passenger vehicles and heavy-duty transport, and develops cables, connectors and supporting systems for the charging infrastructure of the future.

Kemplink’s products and technology have been under development within Kemppi Group for the past two years, building on Kemppi Group’s decades of expertise in power electronics, thermal management and ergonomics.

“As transport electrification accelerates, the importance of efficient and reliable electric power transfer continues to grow,” says Antti Kemppi, Chairman of the Board of Kemppi Group. “Kemplink is a natural next step in Kemppi Group’s electrification journey.
