Beam Global‘s EV ARC systems incorporate solar panels, battery storage and EV chargers, providing rapidly deployable EV charging infrastructure with no need for construction, trenching, utility grid connections or electrical permitting. The company has had a lot of success selling its systems to municipalities around the country.
Now Beam has received a follow-on order from the city of Dallas for ten EV ARC systems, which the city will deploy later this year to support the charging of its EV fleet.
This is the city of Dallas’s fourth order for Beam Global EV ARC systems since its initial purchase in 2025. The purchase was made through Beam Global’s General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract.
“With thousands of EV ARC systems deployed across the US, Europe and the Middle East and 15 years of successful field operations with this product, we can say with confidence that no one can match our capabilities,” said CEO Desmond Wheatley. “No EV ARC user has seen an increase in their fuel costs due to inflation, shortages or geopolitical instabilities such as those we are seeing in the Gulf today.”

Meanwhile, in Massachusetts, Beam’s EV ARC EV charging systems have been deployed as part of the new CommunityEV Carshare pilot launched by Boston’s Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC).
The pilot combines Beam’s EV ARC systems with EVs from Zipcar. EV ARC systems are now in service at four locations in Greater Boston, allowing EVs to be charged with zero unit cost for the electricity. MAPC is renting the EV ARC systems, creating a new recurring revenue stream for Beam.
Each EV ARC generates and stores renewable energy on-site, enabling up to 265 miles of driving per day, and supporting multiple Zipcar charging sessions daily without increasing demand on the local electric grid.
“With no construction and no connection to the grid, our rapidly deployed off-grid infrastructure solutions generate reliable electricity, but they don’t generate a utility bill, so people in these communities can access clean transportation options without delays and in the most cost-efficient manner,” said Wheatley.
