The reality TV guy at the DOT has a new plan to kill cyclists and worsen traffic

The Department of Transportation has removed five proven safety mechanisms from its guidance to transportation agencies, which seem focused on making roads less safe for bicycles, when cyclist deaths are already at an all time high. The changes would also increase vehicle traffic.
