German energy services provider CUBOS has acquired the commercial charging business of TotalEnergies in Germany, adding around 6,000 charging points. The acquisition takes the Wolfsburg company to more than 15,000 charging points serving over 1,000 business customers. It follows CUBOS’s acquisitions of SWARCO in December 2025 and ChargeOne in April 2026.

The transaction covers TotalEnergies’ entire commercial charging operation in Germany, comprising more than 6,000 AC and DC charging points.

CUBOS is taking on all of the charging specialists attached to TotalEnergies’ German B2B business, growing its team to more than 500 people. As in its earlier acquisitions, all jobs are being retained. Existing TotalEnergies contracts will continue, and CUBOS says it will integrate the sites into its platform in stages.

Founded in Wolfsburg in 2018, CUBOS develops charging infrastructure, battery storage and photovoltaic systems, and it positions the acquired sites within a platform strategy that links charging, energy services and software. The company says the expanded portfolio will give former TotalEnergies customers access to its own hardware and software, solar and battery storage, serviced by in-house technicians.

“With CUBOS we have found a reliable partner that will not only continue our B2B charging business but develop it further with its own technology and a broad service portfolio,” said Jan Petersen, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Charging Solutions Deutschland.
