We’ve been covering Orange EV for a decade, and it’s one of the greatest success stories in the commercial EV market.

Now the company has deployed its 2,000th electric terminal truck. The historic yard goat was delivered to Coke Canada Bottling, one of Canada’s largest beverage manufacturers and distributors. The deployment expands the bottler’s use of Orange EV electric terminal trucks at facilities in British Columbia and Quebec.

Orange EV’s electric terminal trucks operate at distribution centers, logistics hubs, ports and intermodal facilities throughout North America, including winter environments in Canada. The company’s e-TRIEVER platform is designed for warehouse and distribution operations, while the HUSK-e is designed for port and heavy-duty applications.

Orange EV says its electric yard dogs have surpassed 33 million miles of operation in more than 370 fleets operating in 41 US states, 4 Canadian provinces and the Caribbean. Across all deployments, Orange electric trucks have maintained an average uptime rate of approximately 97%.

“Delivering our 2,000th truck is more than a production milestone—it reflects a broader industry tipping point,” said Kurt Neutgens, co-founder, President and CTO. “Having done calculations under real-world conditions and duty cycles, fleet operators are no longer asking whether electric yard trucks can do the job. They are now asking how quickly they can standardize around Orange EV solutions to improve their uptime, predictability and total cost of ownership.”
